The Residency Education Committee (REC) was established in 2020 in collaboration between the American and European Colleges of Veterinary Dentistry. The overarching goal of the committee is the provision of high-quality foundational education to veterinary dentistry and oral surgery specialists in training.

The Online Resource Library (ORL) is intended to provide up-to-date online resources that will supplement the education of trainees. The ORL consists of highly curated lecture series, including recorded sessions by topic experts, panel discussions, and a resource page with links to various outside sources of information. In addition to publishing new lecture series annually, the ORL has expanded to include other forms of material (e.g. procedural videos, Review and Assessment tests). Registered trainees and Diplomates will be able to access the material as needed and free-of-charge.
