MSX21 FAQ’s 

  • How do I ask questions during sessions? 

    • Each session has a chat window where you can engage with the presenters and other viewers. Ask questions, share feedback or personal anecdotes and chat with other Mediasite users! If you have a question that you’d rather not share publicly, you can always submit a question to the speaker by clicking the speech bubble icon in the lower right-hand corner of the Mediasite player.  

  • What if I have questions for one of the sponsors? 

    • That’s great!! Locate the contact information of the sponsor (which can be found on the left-hand side of each sponsors virtual booth) and shoot them an email. You can access all the sponsor booths by going to the ‘Exhibit Hall’ tab in the top navigation.  

  • How do I win prizes? 

    • Join in on our virtual scavenger hunt! Over the next day and a half spend some time searching all over the MSX21 virtual platform, through the depths of our sponsors websites and maybe even a google search or two. You can find the scavenger hunt form on our scavenger hunt page located on the engage tab. Every correct answer you submit = one entry into the prize drawing. You can also get points for filling out the post-session surveys located in the description of each session. Winners will be announced in the closing keynote on day 2.  

  • I want to network with other attendees! Where should I go? 

    • MSX is all about networking with other Mediasite pros. You can chat with other attendees in the chat section of each session, and you can join our MSX21 Facebook page (located under the engage tab of the navigation bar). Here you can chat about the discussion topics, join video rooms or just share updates about your MSX21 experience! 

  • What is the social wall? 

    • The social wall (located in the engage tab of the navigation bar) is your one-stop shop to see what others are saying about MSX21. Go to your Twitter and Facebook accounts and share pictures, quotes, your favorite session take-aways or anything else that sparks your interest and be sure to use the #MSX21. The social wall will populate all these posts so other attendees can see what is going on at the conference. 

  • I have a technical question that’s not about the MSX21 virtual platform. Who can I talk to about that? 

    • Our Mediasite Gurus are here to help. We have walk up appointments with our gurus available May 19 from 11:45am-12:30pm CT and May 20 from 10:45am – 11:30am CT. If these times don’t work for you, you can always open a case or call our support at any time.  

  • Will the sessions be available to watch on-demand? 

    • Yes! All sessions will be available to watch on-demand shortly after each session ends. Use the same link provided during the live sessions to watch on-demand.  

  • What is the Mediasite Customer Council? 

    • The Mediasite customer council is for video pioneers like you who want to join us as leaders in digital education content, would like to help us validate new capabilities and designs and want early access to Mediasite prototypes and releases.
